Cultivating Connection
"In the absence of love and belonging, there is suffering"
-Brene Brown

Based on the works of Brene Brown
Craving authentic, brave conversations and connection?
This 4 session in-person group is based on Brene Brown’s work on joy, shame resilience, and wholehearted living. Brene's work is easily digestible, and has been a regular feature on Oprah's shows, makes appearances on NCIS, Ted Lasso, and other popular shows. Let's face it, joining a group is tough...it's vulnerable and scary. But it's also SO powerful-to be in the company of people who get it, without having to explain everything. Choose Courage over Comfort, and join me this fall on a journey to living as your true self.
Who should join?
This group is for girls between the ages of 13–18.
If you're not allergic to horses or hay, you're welcome to join us!
If you’re feeling lost, alone, or like you always have to change how you look, act, or think just to fit in—this space is for you.
We’re all about being inclusive. This isn’t about changing who you are or telling you how to live your life. The goal is to create a space where you feel safe to be real, take small risks, and explore what being you actually feels like.

"Don't walk through the world looking for evidence that you don't belong, or that you're not good enough, because you will find it"-Brene Brown

Other details
This group will be co-structures by a Registered Psychotherapist (Natasha Wakefield) and the participants. It will be based on Brene Brown's "Living BIG"-setting Boundaries, staying within our Integrity, and practicing Generous Assumptions.
Each week will incorporate ground work with the horses; there is no indoor arena, so if the weather does not cooperate, less horse interaction may be necessary.
