Lost that loving feeling?  Let me help you get it back

Couples Therapy

Life is stressful these days, and it is easy to fall into a pattern with your partner of pushing them away when you need them the most. Together, we will work to understand and shift these patterns using Emotionally Focused Therapy. You will understand your emotions better, as well a your partners'.  We will seek to understand how you move together, and work to build on the positive and reconstruct the damaging patterns of interaction.  This service is available virtually or in person. In person is preferred.

"Love has an immense ability to help heal the devastating wounds that life sometimes deals us.  Love also enhances our sense of connection to the larger world."-Sue Johnson

The foundation for my work with couples is Emotionally Focused Therapy.  created, developed, and researched by Sue Johnson and her team.  I will work with you to help you understand yourselves and each other in a deeper way.  As we untangle the "stuff" from the emotion, share with each other, reach for each other, and support each other, a new and more loving interaction will form.
